Hey there!

We’re Spencer and Corey, the co-founders of Podera. We created Podera because we were constantly discovering fascinating content online but never had the time or energy to read through it all. We wanted a way to listen to this content in a manner that felt engaging and conversational, rather than a robotic monotone voice. We believed there had to be a better way! With a lot of problem-solving and true conviction, we built Podera — a simple and easy way to convert anything into a podcast.

Spencer, our co-founder and CEO, oversees all non-technical aspects of the company, while Corey, our co-founder and CTO, manages everything tech-related. We’ve been friends for over seven years, having collaborated at a coding bootcamp in the past. Corey previously worked as a software engineer at Google, and Spencer led product and growth at Venmo. Our shared love of pickleball (as you can see in the photo) reflects our energetic and dynamic approach to tackling any challenge that comes our way. We’re also fortunate to have Anthony, our talented software engineer, on the team. Anthony is our Swiss Army knife, adept at coding across various platforms, and his contributions have been invaluable to our success.

We hope you love Podera as much as we do. We believe Podera marks the new “Era of Podcasting” and hope that many incredible content creators use it to create new mediums for their followers to enjoy and expand their audiences.
